The ninth annual Manufacturing Day was a great success as students from the local schools were able to visit 14 manufacturers across Wayne County! The students participated in hands-on activities, saw automation in action, learned about the various career paths available in the manufacturing field, and witnessed many of the cool things that are made locally.
Manufacturing Day is an annual event where high school students have the opportunity to visit top employers in Wayne County. It is a mutually beneficial program that connects the future workforce with employers in need of skilled labor.
