The 11th Annual Wayne Economic Forum was a success!

Leaders and community members gathered for the 2024 Wayne Economic Forum. Our four exceptional guest speakers shared engaging and insightful presentations with attendees, making it a wonderful afternoon of networking and informative discussions.

Renato Camacho, President and CEO of Akron-Canton Airport, opened the day by sharing his deep commitment to the Akron-Canton community. He spoke about the airport’s vision, numerous valuable resources, and economic impact.

Asra Nomani, author, and former Wall Street Journal reporter, explored the complexities of navigating DEI and achieving the American Dream. Attendees had the opportunity to acquire her book, “Standing Alone in Mecca,” which recounts her experiences in the Middle East.

Marc McGrath, Regional CEO Americas for Schaeffler, spoke about the history of Schaeffler, the company’s future plans, and his personal career journey. The audience was captivated by Schaeffler’s exciting innovations.

Rick Buoncore, Managing Partner of MAI Capital Management, closed the day with a presentation on MAI Capital Management’s range of services and opportunities. He introduced the thought-provoking concept of Quality Time Remaining (QTR), encouraging attendees to prioritize life satisfaction through meaningful experiences, relationships, and financial security.
